Denosumab Triggers Paradoxical Hungry Bone Syndrome-Like State in Multiple Myeloma Patient

A recent study from JCEM Case Reports reveals that denosumab, a human monoclonal antibody widely used to prevent fractures, can cause a rare “hungry bone syndrome-like state” even in purely bone-destroying (osteolytic) cancers such as multiple myeloma.
