Mississippi: The Best State for Doctors?

According to WalletHub, Mississippi tops the list as the best state for doctors. Closely followed by Iowa, Minnesota, and North Dakota. The worst state for docs? The District of Columbia, with New York, Rhode Island, and Maryland close behind.

To make these comparisons, WalletHub’s analysts compared all the states across 11 key metrics with data set ranges from “physicians’ monthly salaries,” “number of hospitals per capita,” etc. The results are interesting and pretty surprising.
