Johnson & Johnson is informing patients that cyber pirates could potentially hack into the devices and potentially cause an overdose. While the company’s executives know of no cases where this has happened, the J&J Animas OneTouch Ping insulin pump is vulnerable because the delivery of data on older pumps is not encrypted.
