Inaugural EndoForum Live 2027 to Present the Best of Society’s SIGs

It’s one of my favorite member benefits. The Society’s Special Interest Groups – or SIGs as they’re affectionately known – bring together peers from around the world who share common clinical, research, or career interests.

Each year, the 12 existing SIGs (see list below) offer a broad range of educational and networking opportunities, including widely attended webinars and lively discussions on EndoForum, our online member-engagement platform.

These events have become so popular, in fact, that our Society staff had the great idea of bringing together some of the SIGs for a full day of integrated programming: thus, the inaugural EndoForum Live 2027.

This free, virtual members-only event takes place January 23, 2027, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM ET. The programming, designed by each participating SIG, promises something for all attendees, no matter their endocrine specialty.

It’s one of my favorite member benefits. The Society’s Special Interest Groups – or SIGs as they’re affectionately known – bring together peers from around the world who share common clinical, research, or career interests.

And unlike traditional webinars, where attendees simply listen, EndoForum Live invites you to get involved by asking questions, exchanging ideas, and contributing to meaningful discussions with colleagues across the endocrine community. All discussions and resources from the event will remain available in EndoForum for further conversations.

Full event details will be coming soon, but here is a sneak peek of some of the topics that will be discussed. Sessions titles include:

  • Low-Risk Thyroid Cancer
  • Primary Hyperparathyroidism Beyond Calcium: Understanding Skeletal Heterogeneity for Precision Medicine
  • From Puberty to Menopause: Glycemic Management Across Hormonal Transitions in Girls and Women with Diabetes
  • When Cortisol Testing Doesn’t Make Sense: Solving the Difficult Cushing Case
  • Practical Application of AI in Endocrinology

Given the time constraints, it’s not feasible to include programming from all SIGs in the 2027 event. Society staff will work hard to ensure that future EndoForum Live events feature sessions from the full range of SIGs.

EndoForum Live is a great opportunity to help shape the future of endocrinology. I look forward to seeing you at this exciting event.
